Ali Croxford

Ali studied art at Wimbledon School of Art and subsequently at Lancaster University as part of her Psychology degree. She held some early exhibitions in 1988 and in 1996 in which she sold all works, before accidentally taking a 25 year break from painting. During this time she worked in brand advertising, business development and training and development, establishing her own training consultancy in 2004. She also raised 3 children meaning that her creativity was limited to face painting and making children’s birthday cakes.

The enforced isolation of COVID 19 pandemic allowed Ali to rediscover her love of painting and she held an exhibition in July 2021 of this body of work which explored the themes of fear, pain, anger, sight, boundaries, renewal, movement and hope.
