Billy Hamersley

I started painting during Lockdown for my own sanity, although I’ve always been interested in art and particularly enjoyed drawing when I was young. Art and painting is escapism for me.

I try to paint as often as I can in order to learn and develop by doing. So far, amongst other subjects, I have painted mostly landscapes of my home town of Brightlingsea and local areas, some portraits for family and friends as well as some more quirkier pieces.
