Brenda Jones

I make both figurative and abstract paintings, often including collage and recycled items. I work both large and small scale on canvas, wood and paper and enjoy the diversity of finding new materials and methods.

I attended Colchester School of Art and gained a BA(Hons), followed by a MA degree at Norwich in 2005-7. I first moved in Colchester in 1985 and became a member of CAS, painting at weekends whilst doing a day job. I was a member of Cuckoo Farm Studios for 11 years and now work in a studio at home in Colchester.

I have exhibited frequently in mixed and solo shows.
