Dawn Hall

“Local Scenes” sounds so banal, but when you live surrounded by some of the most beautiful beaches, intriguing backwaters, a passionate sailing community and the biggest skies – you have a lifetime of inspiration.

After fifteen years of living and working here, it has become obvious how quickly our area is changing which adds a new dimension to my studies. Apart from the erosion of the coastline, I notice the different skyline when walking around the backwaters – trees missing, a new building, and more boats! I now, more than ever, feel like I am recording environmental shifts in a pocket of England. Never a banal moment!
