Gail Turner
Gail Turner is a painter and art historian. She studied at Colchester School of Art in the early 1990s and exhibits widely. Gail is inspired by light and colour, landscape and architecture, and enjoys putting texture into her work through collage and paint and print techniques. She aims to express the essence and atmosphere of a place - whether in East Anglia or the Mediterranean - with a hint of abstraction. She enjoys painting simple pieces of fruit and vegetables too. She is also an art historian who specialises in lecturing on Spanish painting and history. She lives in Coggeshall.
