I am a painter, using acrylic and oil paint. My paintings lie between abstraction and figurative. Colour is my most vital component.
I am a visual scavenger, gaining inspiration from memory, sketches, photographs and travel. My paintings often start as one idea, then, multiple layers later, end up somewhere else completely. I like to leave some mystery.
I have regularly shown my work at The Wivenhoe Art Trail and Crouch End Open Studios in London, amongst other gallery shows.
My paintings have been selected twice for the Royal Academy summer show in 2021 & 2023, and for the ING Discerning Eye exhibition in The Mall Galleries in 2023.
