Monica Marriage

I am a long stanging member of the Colchester Art Society, Assington Group of Artists and the Tuesday Group. I enjoy working in different media as these examples show. In recent years I have been the "artist in residence" at a Maldon boatyard principally recording the restoration of the smack Varuna. The boat is now docked at Maldon awaiting completion and I have changed my focus to the Colchester scene and current issues. The commemoration of a family member, killed in the First World War was prompted by the 100 year Anniversary of the end of the Great War. I am currently participating in several courses at the Wivenhoe Printworks and also enjoying an interesting pottery course so my future output might include 3D pieces.
