| Colin Freeman studied art and design for 4 years at Cambridge School of Art. Born in Essex, he has worked in East Anglia all his life and now lives and paints in Coggeshall. Painting and photography have always run parallel to his work as a graphic designer and illustrator. His work has been exhibited at The Beecroft, Southend, The Gallery, Stock, the Dunmow Gallery, the Colchester Institute CAS Summer Show and the Life Café, Colchester. His first one-man exhibiton, The Graphic Eye, was at Lauderdale House, Highgate in 2002. He is attracted to the all natural forms of the landscape, trees and plants. Over the past year he has returned to life drawing. His graphic eye is taking his work towards a more abstracted style |
