Colin Kirby-Green

Trained at St Martin’s School of Art 1957 – 1962 (Painting Special).
Hornsey College of Art teacher training 1963-4, taught in that department in 1967.
Taught painting and drawing at St Alban’s school of art and lectured in art appreciation at Hatfield polytechnic (Liberal Studies) 1967-1971.
Worked and studied in Italy for extended periods between 1960 and 1996.
Art tutor and Art Team Leader at the Adult Community College Colchester since 1994.
Twenty-two one-man shows between 1969 and 1998, mostly in London.
Various mixed exhibitions during this time in the UK, Germany and Italy.
Leads art based trips abroad in Europe, USA, Middle East and India.
Works and teaches in his studio in Brightlingsea, Essex, where he has also run a monthly series of chamber music concerts for the past 17 years.
