Paul Butler

Initially inspired by the work of Terry Frost, Ben Nicholson, Bridget Reilly and Mark Rothko I have found myself intrigued by the possibility of using simple shapes, colour and texture to create art. I enjoy experimenting with materials. I live in Essex with my studio located in Great Holland.

I have primarily exhibited in London and Cornwall as well as numerous Open Exhibitions around the country resulting in my work being in private collections in Britain and abroad. I am currently working on material for an exhibition in the Crypt Gallery St Ives Cornwall in October 2024.
