Sam Hacking

Sam Hacking is an artist and writer with a BA in Fine Art from The Slade School of Fine Art in London. She has widely exhibited, with highlights including the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, Creekside Studios, The Rag Factory, Mol’s Place Gallery, Ravens Row Gallery, 176 Gallery, Hampstead Affordable Art Fair, The Yard Theatre and Elephant Parade.   

Her studio is based in Suffolk and in 2019 she won ‘Escalator’ award, an emerging writers competition and year long scheme at The National Centre for Writing in Norwich.  Her writing has been published in several magazines such as Funhouse, Potluck, Thin Noon and Cold Lips.  She is currently working on a novel and short story collection, alongside her painting, and has a place on the MA Prose Fiction Writing course at University of East Anglia in September 2021.
