To quote from Henry Moore: ‘The creative habit is like a drug. The particular obsession changes, but the excitement, the thrill of your creation lasts’.
I love to paint, create and draw. My work is forever evolving and never limiting. I live in Colchester but my grounding doesn’t stop me from exploring further and beyond. I am passionate about the coast and its gifts of light and touch, equally I love the earth and its tactile movement and people fascinate my curiosity. There is nothing that I find limiting in creating a painting, only a passion for that moment in time that it captures and the need to follow it to beyond and often to create a series or more canvases… from sight to pencil to colour to photography from paint to brush to canvas to palette knife and ending in a statement of contemporary beginning and belonging.
