I was born in Dartford, Kent and went on to study Fine Art Painting initially at Medway School of Art, then Epsom School Of Art and finally 3 years at the Royal Academy School of Art, London. I was awarded Landscape painting and Good Academic drawing prizes whilst at art school and have exhibited at galleries in London, Cheltenham, Essex, and St. Ives, Cornwall. I have also exhibited religious work in Westminster Cathedral and the London Oratory.

I paint in oils, acrylics, watercolours and pastel. More recently I have started exploring digital art, creating images and quick plein air sketches on my iPad or iPhone and then either printing the work on my Epson 6 ink printer or develop the image organically using mixed media techniques.

I recently moved to Harwich and am interested in the ‘quirkiness’ of life capturing the spontaneous effects of light and colour on the landscape and people.
