Val Bonnett
Val Bonnett grew up in Colchester and taught in primary and adult art education. Val later studied at Colchester Institute completing a Diploma in Art and Design in the 1990s.
She has been a member of the Chelmsford, Colchester and Ipswich Art Societies and has exhibited widely in East Anglia in solo and open exhibitions.
Her recent exhibitions took place at the Minories Gallery, Colchester and the Peter Pears Gallery, Aldeburgh in 2018.
She draws from and returns to the theme of anthropomorphism in the landscape studying life. For Val, the work is an expression of nature and feeling the energy that surrounds it.
