My work spans various media, including assembled drawings, word art, collage, installation, video, and public interaction. At the heart of everything I create is a deep and personal exploration of emotional truth, particularly regarding mental health, healing, and survival. Art has always been a form of therapy for me—a tool for processing life's challenges and making sense of the world.
Though my themes are rooted in serious emotional concerns, every piece I make comes from a place of love, catharsis, and ultimately, hope. I see myself as part of a long human tradition—much like the cave person who painted that reality on a wall, I document mine. However, I’m doing it in 2025, surrounded by the chaos of technology, capitalism, conspiracy theories, and everything in between. My work reflects the contradictions of the world we live in: it's raw and reflective, personal yet political, grounded in struggle but driven by a desire to transform pain into something positive.
Since 2001, I’ve worked as an independent artist while taking on roles in exhibition management, public commissions, and community-led art. I was born in London in 1977 and currently live and work in Clacton-on-Sea.
