From her garden studio in Essex, Irena works in a variety of mediums including coloured pencil, pen, acrylic, watercolour and oil. Her preference is to work in oil or pen and ink combined with watercolour.
Paintings are either created ‘en plein air’ or from her photograph stock of things and places that have caught her interest.
Ever since she was a child Irena had an interest in craft making and art and continues to develop her portfolio with the rich and welcoming art community in Colchester and Suffolk.
