Michael Sheehy
Michael Sheehy is an award-winning illustrator who has worked for newspapers, magazines, books and advertising for over thirty years. His work for The Times won a Best Published Illustration Award from the Association of Illustrators in 1992 whilst his designs for Whittards coffee packets claimed a International Packaging Design Award in 1996. His work for the Guardian received The Pentagram Award in 2000. He produced weekly illustrations for Radio Times from 2005 through to 2017. In 2014, a retrospective exhibition ‘The Illustrated Life of Michael Sheehy’ featured at the Diss Corn Hall Gallery in Norfolk: ‘Whilst my illustration work is very focused on a line and watercolour style, I am currently enjoying experimenting with oils, acrylics and mixed media in my personal work and hope to build an audience for these works as well.’
